Sushi Goken

I accidentally ended up at this sushi place and the owner himself served us. Fast, beautiful, delicious. But, unfortunately, on July 5, 2025, the service was slow, although there were several people in the room. They brought old wasabi with dried edges, you can see it in the photo. All the dishes were chipped and this is unpleasant, even if the dish is beautifully presented. When I asked when they were closing, the girl started giving a lecture on something incomprehensible. Instead of simply naming the opening hours. They gave me the menu and forgot about us. That day, two people were spinning in the kitchen and there were 3 waiters in the room. The sushi was falling apart, but the taste was satisfactory. A girl came and started taking away the plates with uneaten food. I had to stop her with the phrase that we were still eating. But we had to wait for the check for payment. In general, we no longer go to this sushi until we meet the owner himself there. If there are days when the owner himself works in the restaurant, let us know in the ad and we will gladly visit his wonderful place.

Overall good experience. Service was helpful and communicative. Happy Hour was but one get one half off of Rolls. We had 4 rolls and 2 appetizers, minus 5% for paying in cash was $80. Ex girlfriend roll was my favorite! The crispy rice and tuna was also delicious! Just a good hole in the wall- definitely worth checking out.

This is a great sushi spot ! I always go here for lunch at work. The best part is that most rolls are bogo 50% off. They are super helpful with great service. The ambiance is meh and it's kind of small but I'm really there for the food cause it's bomb !

This was just a random sushi visit with my gf looking for a close sushi place and found this restaurant less than 10 mins away from our place. Didnt expect much of this place but was surprice with the freshness of their sushi and their poke bowl was . Not only that, their servers are very attendant and welcoming, I give them A+. We will be a returning customers.

This sushi place feels homey. The owner/chef was really nice and accommodating! Even the cashier was patient with us because it took us a little while to order. Our experience here was awesome! Would love to come again when we’re in town again. Thank you!

This is a great place with many delicious dishes. I really like Japanese cuisine, and this new spot became my favorite from the first bite. Everything here is fresh, which means it’s healthy!

We've come here twice now in the last week, and it's the best sushi I've had in a long time. Some very unique takes on traditional sushi, as well as some completely fresh, new recipes! Really enjoying this find! Update: As of 2/4/23, we've been here three times now. Each time I'm more impressed with the flavors!
